Goals and Strategic Plans

To keep LOPSA viable and relevant,

To expand membership,

To eventually expand who we include as a member, e.g., all IT Operations,

And to further LOPSA's mission,

The Board set the following goals for its 2017-2018 year:

1. Increase the LOPSA's value proposition to its members
   1. Run CasITConf 2018
   2. Restart the mentorship program
   3. Provide guidance and support to local chapters
2. Improve execution/organization/governance
   1. Increase the number of active LOPSA members
   2. Document the pattern of an active LOPSA chapter valuable to its community
   3. Document the pattern of a successful LOPSA conference
3. Improve perception of LOPSA
   1. Communicate better, communicate regularly
